Lil’ Stars is a favorite, machine pieced and hand-appliquéd. I stitched this one on a trip with Husband, Mark, to one of our many honeymoons in a Bed & Breakfast in New England. The stars are machine-outlined with glittery gold thread. The hand quilting was done with this same metallic thread. This is a small quilt, about 24” square. The backgrounds are purple, rather than navy (since I am not a fan of blue or navy!). I'm thinking about making this one in Christmas reds, greens, golds and other bright colors for a Christmas throw.
